Advocacy Service
Our advocacy service supports people to have their views heard in a variety of ways including at Care Planning Meetings,
when they have questions about medication, at mental health tribunals or if they want to make a complaint about their care
and/or treatment.
Aims:
To enable mental health service users to have their voices heard
Objectives:
To encourage self advocacy where appropriate
To offer support to people to express views and concerns
To support people to access information and services
To ensure people have access to a range of choices and options
To provide a person- centred service which is free, confidential, impartial and accessible to all.
