Family mediation for separating and divorcing couples to make decisions about best arrangements for their future.  Community mediation to resolve neighbour disputes such as noise, anti-social behaviour, etc.  "Re-connect" mediation for teenagers and their families to prevent or help with homelessness.  Supervised contact for parents to see their children.  Also counselling for children 5-18 years who have difficulty coming to terms with their parents’ separation.

An outreach service to support people experiencing domestic violence in Swindon.  The service enables people experiencing domestic violence to meet and talk one-to-one to a dedicated support worker in a safe setting.  The service is free and confidential.  Support workers take a non-judgmental approach and offer people varying levels of practical support, tailored to meet individual needs.  This could be support to tackle financial problems, for instance, or it could just mean someone ‘being there’ to listen and understand.  The aim is for people to become independent and free from domestic violence.  Self-referrals are welcome.

Victim Support offers a free and confidential volunteer calling and visiting service to victims of sexual crime.

You can be visited in your own home or somewhere else depending on what suits you.  Volunteer visitors are trained and will give you information and emotional support.  They can also accompany you to the police station or to court.  They can give information about compensation and other organisations that may be able to help you.
