Solution-Focused Service


Individual Recovery Work

We offer one-to-one appointments for people to explore possible solutions to their emotional distress.  We use a solution focused approach which supports people to identify their own strengths and skills in order to aid their recovery.


Group Sessions

We offer group sessions on different aspects of mental health, e.g.

  • Lifting Low Mood
  • Stress Solutions
  • Improving Sleep Patterns
  • Increasing Self Esteem

Aims:

  • To provide participants with the tools to identify their own strengths and skills
  • To support participants to produce their own Recovery Plans

Objectives:

  • Introduce participants to a number of solution focused techniques, e.g. goal setting, finding solutions, scaling issues (1-10 and prioritising)
  • Use ‘Trac & Trap’ tool to support participants to write Recovery Plan

Individual sessions are based on the same aims and objectives as the group sessions.
